Russia's trade turnover with Indonesia doubled in past five years
By the end of 2025, trade between the two countries has doubled over the past five years, reaching almost $5 billion. This was announced by Alexander Masaltsev, Russia's Trade Representative to the Republic of Indonesia.
The export structure has remained unchanged in recent years, Masaltsev stressed. Russia traditionally supplies Indonesia with mineral resources, grains, fertilizers, and ferrous metals. Russia purchases palm oil, tea, coffee, cocoa, and seasonal fruits from Indonesia.
According to the trade representative, the countries face the task of diversifying their trade, transforming the trade union into a sustainable source of industrial and scientific-technological cooperation.
