Moscow launches service for checking language usage rules in signage

Moscow has developed an electronic assistant for checking the compliance of signage and other consumer information with new legislative requirements. The online service was designed for companies operating in the consumer market and using foreign words in their names and professional terms. This was stated by the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.

With the new digital service, entrepreneurs have an opportunity to assess the correctness of their information in accordance with current regulations. The check takes about one minute. Users answer a series of questions and receive a final report. The analysis results in recommendations for name corrections.

Using the electronic assistant reduces the likelihood of offences and administrative sanctions and helps businesses more quickly adapt to legislative changes. The service is free and intended for a wide audience of entrepreneurs operating in the retail and service sectors.
