Moscow discusses prospects for business robotization

However, most inquiries do not turn into real-world applications because businesses lack information on existing technologies and successful practices, and companies do not yet have the infrastructure in place to implement robotic solutions. Furthermore, the market requires standardized, off-the-shelf solutions that reduce costs and optimize implementation timelines.
As Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maria Bagreeva stressed, given the shortage of personnel and rising labor costs, moving into a new phase of growth is only possible with the availability of technological solutions and robotics. The service sector accounts for 85% of Moscow's economy. Therefore, robotics can be successfully applied not only in industry, but also in trade, logistics, transportation, and other sectors. According to Bagreeva, the Moscow government's main task is to work with market participants to explore the potential of robotics in the city and accept existing challenges to maximize the use of robotics in any area of Moscow's economy.
