Global creative economics to be main theme of Russian Creative Week
The "Russian Creative Week" festival and forum will be held for the seventh time and will attract industry professionals ready to discuss global trends in the creative economy. The event will feature over 45 events, featuring 350 speakers from the Presidential Administration, the Russian Government, the State Duma, and the Federation Council, as well as industry ministries, state corporations, and businesses.
The main theme will be global creative economics and the values that unite the world, festival organizers announced.
Competition is currently shifting from technology and resources to the realm of meanings and values, and creative industries, in turn, are the birthplace of these meanings, Marina Mongush, President of the Creative Economy Autonomous Non-Profit Organization, stressed. According to Mongush, Russian Creativity Week becomes a platform for setting a new agenda.
The festival program includes three thematic sections. The first, titled "Global Creanomics," focuses on the formation of principles for competition for technology and talent, the development of digital platforms, and the promotion of Russian products abroad. The second section, "Creanomics of Russia," explores the country's cultural diversity as a strategic asset. A new terminology textbook is planned for presentation during this section. The third section, "The Creative Person," will address the balance between economic and non-material effects and the role of human resources in the new economy.
The event will also feature special projects: the "Creative Dialogues" exhibition by the Znanie Society, a Rosatom project, and a children's media studio. Russian Creativity Week will take place on July 17-18 at the Mechta Complex in Gorky Park. Registration is available on the official website.
