Electrical equipment production increases in Moscow
Electrical equipment production in the city has increased since the beginning of the year. For example, in the first two months of 2026, growth exceeded 9% compared to the same period in 2025. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Transport and Industry.
Currently, more than 130 companies are involved in the electrical equipment industry in the city. At the request of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is actively supporting high-tech companies. They have access to over 20 support measures, including an interest compensation program for investment loans, tax cuts, sales guarantees, and other tools.
Equipment for household use, industry, and other sectors of the economy is manufactured in the Moscow. Companies make a wide range of devices, from lamps and sockets to charging stations for electric vehicles and cable and wire products.
Moscow-made cable products are used in various industries, from medicine to transportation. Around 20 companies operate in this segment. In the first two months of 2026, they increased production volume by 2.3 times compared to the same period in 2025.
